Nature of Employment: Contract

  1. Qualification Requirements

Candidates must possess one of the following:

  • Master’s degree in Archaeology

  • Master’s degree in architecture

  • Master’s degree in Heritage Studies

  • Master’s degree in civil engineering

  • Or other relevant disciplines

Degrees must be from HEC-recognized universities.

  • Job Responsibilities

The Advisor (CHMP) will be responsible for ensuring protection, documentation, and management of cultural heritage sites affected by the project. Key duties include:

  • Develop and implement Cultural Heritage Management Plan (CHMP)

  • Identify, document, and assess archaeological and cultural heritage sites

  • Coordinate with national and provincial heritage authorities

  • Provide technical guidance on excavation, preservation, and relocation of heritage assets

  • Ensure compliance with national laws and international best practices

  • Prepare reports, guidelines, and monitoring frameworks

  • Support capacity building and training related to heritage management

  • Liaise with project management and environmental teams
