Introduction - Population Welfare Department Government of Sindh

The Population welfare Department is a working body of government of Sindh, who works for the people health and family betterment across province of Sindh, it's basic goal to give awareness about family planning, how to take care of maternal/child health and help parents to understand their responsibilities through which the families live their lives with better health. The Headquarter/head office of the department is in Karachi Sindh. It provides its services across rural/urban areas through family welfare centers, health services centers and also through mobile unit services. The main thinking of the department is that if the parents are educated and all health services in their range easily then they can take their future decisions easily and with good will.

The department has announced new job openings for female candidates in Sindh who are domicile holders of Hyderabad are requested to apply for the Family Welfare Assistant (BPS-05) who meet the criteria i.e. age limit, qualification as announced by the employer are encouraged to apply. • The family welfare assistant is mainly responsible to guide and support the families about family planning and how they live a healthy life.

• The Family Welfare Assistant is to perform their duties in rural or urban areas where they interact with community and educate them about how to live better and healthy life.
