Job Overview:

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is an independent government entity in Pakistan. It plays a key role in country and responsible for keeping the record safe of citizens. Its primary role is to register people even male, female, children, transgenders, minorities, special abled person in database and issue the national identity like Computerized National Identity Cards (CNIC). The people of Pakistan can pursue B-form for their children; they can also register their family through family registration certificate. The succession certificate, child registration certificate (CRC), National identity card for overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) and cancellation certificate are including in its services.

NADRA is an equal opportunity employer and recently it announced the vacant positions in various district of Karachi for the post of Deputy Assistant Director (Office In-charge), applications are invited from eligible and dynamic qualified applicants who are willing to work and perform their duty in a most convenient government independent body.

Eligibility Criteria for Deputy Assistant Director

Applicants are requested to read the criteria carefully before applying.

• The interested candidates who possess the graduation degree (16 years of education) in Management/BA/IT/BSCs from a recognized university of HEC.

• Minimum one year experience in relevant field as mentioned above.

• Degree must be verified by Higher Education commission (HEC).

• Age not more than 30 years (age relaxation already included).

• Domicile of district Karachi (Malir, Central, Kemari, West, South, East and Korangi)

• Fresh graduates can also apply.

Other conditions:

• Candidates who meet the above criteria are encouraged to apply for the district as listed above.

• This post is especially for mentioned district and will not be transferable.

• Female/Minorities/Transgender and special abled persons are encouraged to apply.

• Candidates will prove their residence in desire district through CNIC or Domicile will be eligible for the test & interview.

• All candidates will download the Official Nadra App PAKID and will create an account.

• After downloading official PAKID application of NADRA go to

  https://careers.nadra.gov.pk

  after clicking the link, the candidate will redirect to official career portal of NADRA.

• At official career portal, click on HOW TO APPLY, and follow step by step guide provided on official site

• After following all the guidelines candidates can submit application but review the mandatory information before submission.

1. Karachi Malir and Karachi Central:

• Date: March 10, 2026, Tuesday (9 AM - 1 PM)

2. Karachi West and Karachi Kemari

• Date: March 11, 2026, Wednesday (9 AM - 1 PM)

3. Karachi South:

• Date: March 12, 2026, Thursday (9 AM - 1 PM)

4. Karachi Korangi and Karachi East

• Date: March 13, 2026, Friday (9 AM - 1 PM)

Candidates are requested to reach on time

Important Instructions:

• No TA/DA is allowed at the time of test/Interview.

• Selected candidate will submit a medical fitness certificate

• There is a Six-month probationary period (extendable as per performance).

• No application will be accepted after passing of deadline.

• Only test qualified candidates will call for interview.
