  1. Deputy General Manager Legal – Corporate & Regulatory Affairs

This is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing corporate and regulatory legal matters and supporting senior management and the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks related to company operations.

  • Provide legal assistance on oil and gas infrastructure projects, licensing, and franchising arrangements.

  • Advise on real estate transactions, shipping matters, and international trade.

  • Support new business initiatives, joint ventures, and partnership structures from a legal perspective.

  • Provide legal opinions on procurement, banking, and financing arrangements.

  • Oversee employment and labor law matters, and draft/review contracts, agreements, deeds, and other legal instruments.

  • Support implementation of compliance programs and supervise a team of lawyers.

  • Provide legal support to senior management and the Board.

  • Represent the company before quasi-judicial and regulatory forums and submit official representations.

  1. Education

  • Law Degree from an HEC-recognized Law School/University.

  • Solicitor, Bar-at-Law, or LL.M will be an added advantage.

  1. Experience

  • Preferably 8–10 years of professional experience in a large national or multinational organization.

  • At least 5–7 years of relevant functional experience in a similar role or equivalent middle management position.

Age Limit

  • Preferably not more than 45 years as of the last date of application.

  1. Junior Management Position – Legal

This role is suitable for early to mid-career legal professionals who can handle litigation matters and provide legal support to different departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle and monitor litigation cases before courts and legal forums through external counsels.

  • Review pleadings, maintain case status, and coordinate with external lawyers.

  • Vet agreements, MOUs, addendums, and other legal documents and provide legal opinions when required.

  • Provide legal advisory services to departments on various legal matters.

  • Review inquiry reports, charge sheets, show cause notices, court orders, and other relevant documents.

  • Review contracts, agreements, proposals, and letters to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Keep updated on legal and statutory developments and advise supervisors accordingly.

Education

  • Law Degree from an HEC-recognized Law School/University.

  • Solicitor, Bar-at-Law, or LL.M will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience.

  • At least 1–2 years of relevant functional experience in a similar role or one position below.

Age Limit

  • Preferably not more than 33 years as of the last date of application.
